Our Summer so far

Not much as been going on around here worthy to note I guess- other than children on train tracks. Here are a couple things going on! 

1. We are SO excited for this show to start. Even subscribed to HuluPlus so we don't have to wait 8 days (patience.. what's that!?)

2. T did his first Triathlon of the season.. and finished 4th in his age group
3. We ran 2 5k's in 3 days with my mother-in-law
40 minutes and 32 minutes- she is a rock star
4. In case some of you didn't know,
we will be staying at the Y for another 2 years for T's Masters Program in Art History.
5. T spends his days at the Springville Art Museum being a Stewart Fellow
6. I spend my days planning for the fall and beyond
 (deeply researching catering menus, and going to tastings, shoot right?
, redoing syllabi, updating student jobs, planning the Dominican Republic trips
 and also football getaways)
7. Achievements: T's was mentioned above and mine is that I pulled weeds without complaining... outloud. We also booked tickets to Paris in December, tickets to Boise for the BYU vs BSU game, tickets to the Dominican Republic for Feb 2013 and I even planned a trip for T's birthday (destination is a surprise)
8. We are so excited for Chelsea, Kevin and Madeline to come up in the next few weeks

Why?

 When did it become popular for people to put kids on train tracks to take pictures-

 In both of these it looks like the train is heading straight for them...

When I was a kid- this is what I thought happened on train tracks... terrifying

a little different.... don't get me started on engagements...

This week's lessons learned

1. When  a sign says construction, it doesn't mean don't just drive through it, it also means don't walk through it. It makes for some angry construction workers.
2. Good friends are hard to find
3. If you wear hair extensions to zumba and shake your head around, zumba teacher, they will fall out and make you feel weird in front of the whole class.
4. If you see people from work at the gym while you are sweating and panting like crazy (don't act like that's never you), leave asap.
5. Temple ordinances are awesome in a different language.
6. Turns out you will get kicked out of some places on BYU campus if you don't have a visitor pass... awkward.
7. Snuggling with T for at least 15 minutes in the morning is much better than being to work on time.

Big Plans

T and I decided to be irresponsible and adventurous 

This is where we will spend most of December

Then take a train to Vienna

I am so excited

I can't stand it

So what? I'm old

But seriously...

I am tired of these guys on the radio

 Do they think they are a boyband?

 Jumping around, wannabe Beiber hair in cuffed shirt... but without muscles

Wedding of the Century

My cousin married the love of her life on April 28, 2012 in the Oakland temple. 

She looked flawless and it was so fun to see everyone and see her dream wedding come true.
