Maddy is in town this week, since I am on vacation and so is Trent, we decided to hit up a Provo favorite

We had tons of fun. Can't wait for Maddy to come and go to school here!!

Day 1, T's Day

Yesterday wasT's big 24. He celebrated by taking the GRE , after we went to La Caille restaurant. It was beautiful with yummy fancy food, we had a gift card ps, I would never spend over 100 on a meal! Then we went and saw Mr. Poppers Penguins, it was a cute show!

Now we are off for day two of celebrations, tennis, farmers markets, stewart falls and tucanos!

No guilt

Why? Because I deserve it... Because today was my last day at wf ever! I felt liberated and free! Then I zumbad it up, bbqd with T and visited with my cute engaged cousin, she has the blingyest ring and I am so happy for her! Tomorrow is T's bday... So leave him a love note!

Announcement!

I got a new job! You are reading the blog of BYU's Marriott School Rollins Center's Program Coordinator! I will be very involved in all the competitions especially the business plan competition where 1 800 contacts stemmed from and Cold Stone. I am so excited to work with such great people that I can learn so much from. To celebrate T and I went to La Jolla Groves and ate over priced yummy food, he also went and got me an I pad! he is going to be using my comp until he ends school... Hey I will not complain! So... My new jobs starts august 15 and my last day at wf is Thursday. Yup.... You read that right 3 WEEKS of vacation people. So call me if you have a pool, I need some color!

some of you may have heard the saying if you give a woman a fish you feed her for the day, but if you teach a woman HOW to fish you feed her for a life time. Does the same principle apply to flowers? If I dig and plant my wife a flower bush, does it get me off the hook for buying flowers? :)

Camping

People, I made it! I went camping, ate off a fire and peed outside! Yup, I just said that. For all those who really know me are oooing and awwing right now. Here is sideways Trent, yup... you saw it right folks we BACKPACKED in!
And made a fire and made pasta and smores.
Well we kinda ate off a fire, we tried but it was not hot enough to boil the water... fire or stove potato potATO.
I was happy to be in the Trent and away from the bugs and bears... or so called bears I thought were out there.

It was fun and I loved waking up next to a river and just being outside!!!!

I need a change...

Hello blogging world, this is Trent, making my debut appearance into the blogging realm. When Lauren made T Loves L, she did so with the very adamant instructions that I was to contribute my fair share of entries. So I figured I would put fingers to the keys and see how it goes. Well, Summer is in full swing, the mountains are very green and have been calling our names, so after days of begging....I finally gave in to Lauren's demands and we are going camping tonight :) This will hopefully just be the first of several excursions over the summer, increasing in length and adventurousness. But for now our backpacks are all packed up and it should be a great evening, that is, unless a bear or a deer decides to come and touch us. Should we survive, we'll be looking forward to some great barbeque and dazzling fireworks for the 4th!
