Best Day of the Year

Happy Birthday to T!!

This is my favorite day of the year because I get to spoil him and he can't do anything about it

A few things about my guy

- He is such a caring husband

- He is an amazing and patient dad

- His passion for what is does is admirable

- He has a zest for life and a loves to learn

- He kills the spiders and does the dishes

- Watch him eat a meal- it's cute how he eats like it's his last

- His abs are the best (sorry babe, but they are!)

- I love the way he ties his shoelaces

- I love how you get excited to tell me about what you are studying

- I love that you tell me I'm beautiful even though I have post baby body

- you love to shop with me

- You take care of stuff I don't want to think about

-You share my passion for traveling

- I love your dancing

- I love that we can look at each other and just get it

- I love how you make stressful situations fun (really I do!)

- I love how you run your electronics into the ground (check out his phone)

- I even love it when you have a little bit of a beard

I just love you. Totally and Completely.

Breastfeeding

I never thought in my wildest dreams people would be so INSANE about breastfeeding

I love nursing Everett

I am lucky enough to be able to nurse as much as he needs

He is getting amazing nutrition and we are savings lots of money 

Yes they are negatives: I have to eat lots to keep my milk up, it is a pain when I am in public and have no idea where is a nursing room and working and nursing is a task I am going to tackle soon.

Storytime:

I was at the southtowne mall in Dillards looking for missionary clothes with my sister and mom

E was hungry

Found the bathroom, sat in a chair and put on my nursing cover

E was so worked up  he was having a hard time

then a lady (mid 50's) came into the bathroom

she used the bathroom and as she was exited entered the space where I was sitting (with lounge chairs etc)

She said "you really shouldn't be doing that here"

I looked at her- so frustrated with her and E's squirming

So I said the first thing that came to my mouth

SHUT UP

she rolled her eyes and left

seriously? How am I offending her!? What I am doing does not affect her in any way, shape or form

in fact I am helping my child to be smarter than her (obviously)

I came home upset (so was my mom)

ok rant over

one last thing: I will not apologize for breastfeeding my baby. (PERIOD) 

Everett's Blessing

We blessed Everett on July 7th

T gave a beautiful blessing

We had so many family and friends there

E you are so very loved

4th of July

I love 4th of July in Utah

We started out the day with these cute kids who came down from Boise

Then we headed up to Park City to spend the day with my familyi

Vegas

I felt pretty brave heading to Las Vegas with a 6 week old

He was a dream!

He slept all the way to Cedar- ate- then slept all the way to Vegas

Love going to see this little girl

she is 9 months older than E

Two Months

We took his two month pictures late at night

He was not too happy about it!

We sure do love this little guy

he is such a happy, easy going baby

he loves to cuddle and nap on anyone

his smiles are coos melt my heart

he has the longest eyelashes

the ladies are quite in love with him

he sleeps 7-9 hours a night 

he still eats like a champ

we have him on new medicine for acid reflux and he is doing great

He is 24.75" long (98 percentile) and weighs almost 11 pounds (17 percentile)

let's hope the Foutz gene skipped a generation!
